Technical Writer/Instructor (US)

Essential Functions

• Create technical documentation (such as user manuals and API documentation) for One Network’s software development kit and business applications.
• Create material for technical training sessions, including presentations and exercises
• Conduct training courses with developers.  Some courses will be conducted on site with customers – this position requires up to 25% travel.
• Answer technical questions via phone, email and online forum
• Maintain live versions of documentation on One Network’s website

Education

• BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science or Technical Writing

Experience And Skills

• Qualified candidates include developers with technical writing/instruction experience, or technical writers/instructors with previous hands-on development experience.
• 5+ years of work experience overall, with 2-3+ years in training and/or technical writing.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of common enterprise development and web technologies such as Java, SQL, HTML, Javascript.
• Familiarity with docbook is a plus
