System Connectivity
With a service-oriented-architecture, Platform provides an “embrace-not-replace” approach to integration
One Network Platform provides a flexible integration framework that provides an “embrace-not-replace” approach to leveraging the legacy environment in supply chain transformation. In enabling certain business processes, Platform may need to communicate with your existing systems. This communication may occur through a variety of supported transport protocols (HTTP, FTP, SSH) and data formats including XML, EDI, and participant-specific flat file layouts.
One Network has significant experience in connecting Platform to various enterprise applications such as ERP, OMS, WMS, TMS and legacy systems.
Highlights:
- Tunable System of Control process design via Studio to provide unmatched integration flexibility
- Web-services based architecture with published XML message catalogue
- Support of traditional message types including EDI and positional or delimited flat files
- Network Operations Center file transfer monitoring service to ensure successful and reliable transmission of data
Platform enables an incremental path towards a more real-time transaction environment. Recognizing that many installed systems are not even near “real-time”, Platform is capable of wrapping around these systems to embrace their value in enabling an accelerated fulfillment process. As the overall process becomes more real-time, the limitations of this embraced system can be compared with the benefits of absorbing that functionality into Platform. Accordingly, legacy system replacement decisions are based on an appropriate business case at your pace.
