The GSA is responsible for a myriad of acquisition, procurement, and supply chain services to the U.S. Government. In order to provide better value to their customers and the taxpayer, the GSA is committed to building a robust framework capable of facilitating electronic commerce for any supplier, regardless of their technology.

“By enhancing systems integration with vendors, One Network breaks down the barriers of entry for small businesses to broaden GSA’s target base for contracting opportunities,” said Terry Turner, President, One Network Enterprises. “Our solution not only ensures the GSA procures items at the lowest possible cost but also provides enhanced supply chain visibility and analytics to track the performance of those vendors.”

“We selected One Network on the basis of the proven strength of their technology, their cost effective SaaS solution that can scale as we grow, and their ability to generate new capabilities and functionality as our business requirements evolve,” said Jennifer Miller, CEO, Archer Systems.” We were particularly impressed with the fact that they consistently delivered on time and on budget with other government agencies,” added Miller referring to their work on the U.S. Marine Corps AMMO project and the U.S. Transportation Coordination Initiative, DTCI.

Enhancing the Government Supply Chain

The One Network Platform will facilitate electronic commerce for the GSA by supporting both Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and non-EDI procurement transactions. The GSA and its suppliers will benefit through increased electronic invoice processing to reduce discrepancy resolution, hands-free order generation for shorter order-to-receipt lead times, and reduced order expediting costs. The One Network solution also offers rich reporting capabilities and collaboration opportunities with suppliers on inventories, orders, and forecasts.
